Clara Manicini is head of the Open University’s Animal-Computer Interaction Lab where she is studying the kinds of buttons, switches, and other controls that work best for dogs. Sniffer dogs, rescue dogs, and handicap support dogs, they all have to navigate our world and that means being able to use our technologies.

Xiaolin Zheng, an engineer at Stanford University has made a breakthrough, creating low-cost Solar Panel stickers that you can simply peel and stick onto a window or a wall to absorb the sun’s rays. She hopes to overcome the barriers we face today where traditional panels are expensive and difficult to install.
